Personally, sweets and desserts have always been a favourite of mine! Sweets to me are the most colourful, expressive and tasty food. Within the Macquarie area, there are many beautiful and tasty desserts to be found if you look in the right places That I can guide you to, and I hope the sweets and treats you find within this blog are helpful to satisfy your sweet tooth! Not only will todays blog depict desserts and confectionaries, but also sweet drinks and where to find them. But be warned, this blog will defiantly indulge your senses into a sweet wonderland.
The Missing Piece Cafe ~ Macquarie Centre
The Missing Piece Cafe is located within the Macquarie Shopping centre, and provides the basic sweet necessities you need to try! Their unique cakes and drinks will push you into a sweet world of chocolate, caramel and sweetness. Some of their most loved desserts include The Almond, White Chocolate, Coconut cake, The Dark milk chocolate, Almond and Hazelnut Mud cake & their sweet drink specials! For me, these cakes are a delicious treat for any occasion. You can purchase however many slices you'd like, and even order your own cake for special events! They deliver the perfect combination of sweet flavours and textures and are a must to try when on a study break or our enjoying food with your friends or family!

The Vogue Cafe ~ Macquarie Centre
As spoken about within the Vegan Foods Blog, The Vogue Cafe is famously known for their over the top, expressive and sugary sweets and shakes! They provide a colourful range of different sweets and sweet drinks, ensuring you've got the most insta-worthy food photos! Their sweets and treats not only look amazing but taste amazing too, for any time of day and for any event! These are the perfect study break treat for university students right across the road, and is a perfect place for going out somewhere nice. They have a great price range for all their sweets and ensure you have the sweetest experience!
These go to desserts are not only an eye full but are great for spoiling children, or even treating yourself! Some of their most loved treats include The Bueno Cronut Burger, Nutella waffles, Oreo Churros, Acai sorbet, Fruity Nutella covered donuts, Rocky road donut fries, and a wide range of Thick-shakes! These definitely will make your mouth water! Out of all, my favourite is the acai sorbet, as well as the strawberry chocolate Thick shakes! These cleverly developed sweet treats are a colourful treat for any event, and particularly creative for social media posts! ;)

Passiontree Velvet ~ Macquarie Centre
One of my all time favourite cafes, is the Passiontree velvet! For me, this cafe provides the perfect and classic desserts that are just right with a coffee, or a sweet treat. Hand crafted and made by the best of the best, these desserts will 100% make your mouth water. Some of my favourites include their wide range of Macrons, Sweet cakes, Small tarts and meringue. I'd have to say that Passiontree Velvet is one of my all time favourite dessert places, as they provide such an amazing range of sweet treat flavours, and the vibrant colours of desserts always make me feel happy and excited! They even have their own YouTube account, sharing a range of videos from how to make cakes, styling cakes and sweets, different desserts for unique occasions and more! The Passiontree Velvet cafe is also extremely well known for their celebratory cakes! Ranging from birthday cakes, to wedding cakes, Passiontree Velvet will have you sorted for any occasion! They also provide a great range of sweet teas and coffee, along with milkshakes and sweet drinks. One of my favourite is their sweet lychee tea! The formal cafe is an amazing place to hold high teas, celebration's for any event, have a uni break or simply to catch up with friends! Located in the Macquarie centre, this cafe will not fail you to provide a sugary boost or help satisfy your ultimate sweet tooth cravings. They are especially unique for their wide flavour range of macrons, they provide custom wedding cakes, all occasion confectionaries and Macron Towers! Their macron range for me was an eye catcher, as they hold over 30 different flavours of macrons, my favourite treat!

Mrs Fields Bakery Cafe ~ Macquarie Centre
This casual cafe provides a sugary range of cookies, cakes, muffins, brownies, tarts and sweet drinks! Some of these include Macadamia, fudge, & snickerdoodle Cookies, Raspberry & Double chocolate fudge brownies, Blueberry, Lemon Cheesecake, & Double choc muddies, Rocky road tarts, Peanut butter tarts, macrons, & snickerdoodle toast. Amongst these they provide a great range of Frappes, and milkshakes! My favourite being the double soft baked cookie frappe, the mudslide brownie shake, and the creamy chai. Their treats and sweets are homemade fresh every morning, providing you the best quality. They are delicious little treats, that also come in a 'Nibblers Bite Size' range. They not only provide these for your casual day out and celebrations, but also provide event cookie cakes to your personalised choice!
For me, this place had a warm and loving environment, with their treats that made me want to eat forever! their mouthwatering range is well known to everyone within the area and is a must try, to satisfy your sweet tooth cravings! You won't make a mistake coming here with any selection of sweets or sweet treat drinks you choose! Luckily enough, Mrs Field Bakery not only holds great quality desserts, but hold a great price range too!

For me, Piccolo Me is a great energy booster at university when needed for a study break or catch up with friends! More so they provide great sweet beverages, including Iced Mocha, Nutella Bomb hot chocolate, Peach or mango iced tea, Oreo or Honey Shakes, Fruity juices, Cookies & cream Taro latte, and Black or chai iced latte!
For a sweeter treat, they provide Nutella filled donut balls, Fried Maltellas, Chocolate tarts, & Gelato with your own choice of toppings! These small but amazing desserts are a great boost to your sugar levels or are an easy go to study break sweets. For me, the colourful sweets always enlighten my mood and indulge my senses into great sugary environments. On a cold day, their nutella hotchcolate and warm toasted Maltellas and Tella Donuts, are perfect to get you through the day. Whereas on summery days, they provide the most mouth watering yet cooling desserts such as their iced latte and chocolate ranges, aswell as their syrup covered gelato! These sweets are also at a great price range and perfect for any day and any occasion!

Enjoy exploring these favourite Dessert cafes, foods, and drinks within the MQ area! They are a must for anyone willing to try something new! Enjoy the best flavours of these sweets and treats, whilst opening your tastebuds to new food ventures, flavours and colours!
